Biography:

Spider-Girl, also known as May "Mayday" Parker, is a fictional superheroine appearing in Marvel Comics. She is the daughter of Peter Parker (Spider-Man) and Mary Jane Watson.

Mayday first appeared in What If? #105 (February 1998), in a story that explored what would have happened if Mary Jane hadn't suffered a stillbirth. The success of this story led to the creation of the ongoing Spider-Girl comic book series, which became the longest-running Marvel comic book with a female lead.

Spider-Girl inherited her father's spider-powers, including superhuman strength, agility, reflexes, the ability to cling to walls, and a precognitive "spider-sense." She adopts the Spider-Girl identity to honor her father's legacy and fight crime in her own right.
